Seasonal

Ruthless Rye

Style:

Rugged and resilient, rye has been a staple grain for ages and its spicy black pepper-like flavor has been prized by distillers and brewers for centuries. Rye thrives in the harshest conditions and comes to life in Ruthless, a spicy and rugged IPA with fruity, citrus and herbal hop notes balanced with the dry spiciness of the rye, making the beer "aggressive yet comforting to bolster against whatever the winter winds may bring."

Northern Hemisphere Harvest

Style:

The first wet hop Harvest ale. From the fields and into the kettle in less than 24 hours.

Northern Hemisphere Harvest Ale is the beer that launched the “wet hop” craze here in America. Brewed with wet hops plucked straight from the fields in Yakima, WA, and into our brew kettles within 24 hours of growing on the vine, Northern Hemisphere does not take shortcuts. Because hops are incredibly perishable, using hops “wet,” or un-dried, preserves all of the precious oils and resins for a unique drinking experience.

Southern Hemisphere Harvest

Style:

Featuring fresh-picked New Zealand hops, shipped straight from the Southern Hemisphere.

In 2008, we launched the southern counterpart to our popular Harvest Ale, featuring fresh hops picked, dried and shipped from New Zealand within seven days of the fields. Southern Hemisphere is a south-by-north fusion that showcases the intriguing floral and herbal flavors and aromas of New Zealand-grown Southern Cross, Pacifica and Motueka hops.

Hefeweizen

Style:

First brewed in 1984, Schell’s Hefeweizen is made with a blend of wheat malt and barley malts. Schell's uses an authentic wheat beer yeast culture, which gives the beer a fruity ale character dominated by a citrus-like tartness. The brew is refreshingly light in character with a higher than normal carbonation level.

Bock

Style:

Brewed with a harmonious blend of 10 different types of malt and noble hops, Schell's Bock is fermented slowly, and then lagered for an extended period of time to ensure a smooth finish. The beer proves perfect for passing even the coldest winter day.

Canoe Paddler

Style:

In 1906, the Kolsch-style beer originated from the Cologne region of Germany as a crisp and light beer to combat the summer heat. Leinenkugel's® Canoe Paddler is the brewery's take on the Kolsch-style beer that they tweaked with a touch of rye. This spring and summer seasonal has subtle malt flavors, a clean finish, and adventurous quality.

Big Eddy Wee Heavy Scotch Ale

Style:

Big Eddy Wee Heavy Scotch Ale is a tip of the cap to the brewers of Scotland. A blend of eight robust malts give Wee Heavy its complex flavor which is balanced by notes of dark chocolate, toffee and caramel.

Big Eddy Imperial IPA

Style:

The 100% malt base makes for a bold foundation, while the perfect balance Big Eddy Imperial IPA delivers is derived from the five distinct hops that are hand-selected and added at each stage of the brewing process.

Oktoberfest

Made of Harrington 2-row base, Munich, and caramel 45 malts with Mt. Hood hops, Great Lakes Brewery's Oktoberfest brew is an amber lager with rich malt flavor balanced by fragrant noble hops.

Nosferatu

Made of Harrington 2-row base, crystal 77, and special roast malts with simcoe and cascade hops, Nosfertau is a highly hopped imperial red ale rich with flavor, yet remarkably balanced.
