Kolsch

My Turn "Terrance"

Style:

Terrance’s beer lands in the glass straw-colored with a mild biscuity Kölsch malt, spicy noble hop aroma, and subtle fruity esters rise out of the rocky white head. Slight peppery and earthy hop flavors lead to a crisp, German lager finish with a lasting pleasant hop spiciness.

Escape Route

Style:

Light, fragrant, and refreshing, Escape Route is Samuel Adam's interpretation of this classic German style is wonderfully bright and complex. The beer is brewed with Alsatian hops for a lemony citrus note and Jasmine Sambac for a delicate and floral aroma and flavor.

Canoe Paddler

Style:

In 1906, the Kolsch-style beer originated from the Cologne region of Germany as a crisp and light beer to combat the summer heat. Leinenkugel's® Canoe Paddler is the brewery's take on the Kolsch-style beer that they tweaked with a touch of rye. This spring and summer seasonal has subtle malt flavors, a clean finish, and adventurous quality.

3 Kings

Style:

Point Three Kings is a highly drinkable golden colored Kölsh-Style Ale inspired by the story of the three kings whose remains reside in the Köln Cathedral in Köln Germany. Köln is the birthplace of Kölsh ale, often referred to as the ‘crown jewel of brewing art’. Elegant and well-balanced, Three Kings is hand-crafted with a delicate fruity aroma, clean soft maltiness, and crisp subtle hopping – an adventure fit for a king.

Zommerfest

Style:

Zommerfest is fairly light in both color and in flavor. It is a pale gold color, low in hop flavor and aroma, with a light body and a somewhat dry finish, proving to be a pleasant, light-flavored beverage.

Summer

Style:

Alaskan Summer Ale balances a softly malted palate with the clean freshness of hops. In the tradition of the style, neither overpowers the other. Both hops and malt come together to refresh and renew the palate. The straw–gold color and easy drinkability are an enjoyable way to celebrate summer.
