Russian Imperial Stout

Narwhal

Narwhal Imperial Stout is inspired by the mysterious creature that thrives in the deepest fathoms of the frigid Arctic Ocean. Featuring incredible depth of malt flavor, rich with notes of espresso, baker’s cocoa, roasted grain and a light hint of smoke, Narwhal is a massive malt-forward monster. Aggressive but refined with a velvety smooth body and decadent finish, Narwhal will age in the bottle for years to come.

25th Anniversary Imperial Stout

You only turn 25 once, and to celebrate, Lakefront Brewery brewed a rich imperial stout with cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, and cherry purée. The brew pours a deep, dark black with a mocha brown head that gradually retreats to the edges of the glass. A strong chocolate aroma arises, followed by sweet malt and mild tart cherry. The full, dense mouthfeel yields a malty sweetness followed by chocolate, cherry, and vanilla flavors, then finishes with a slight alcohol warmth, leaving roasted malt and chocolate notes.

Blackout

This strong, rich brew originated from recipes that British brewers tailored for the czars and czarinas of the Russian Imperial court. Blackout has a rich malt body and bold hop flavor and is made of Harrington 2-Row Base, Crystal 77, and Black, and Roasted Barley malts.
